Give Up The Faith Poem by Balint Nagy

Give Up The Faith

Zero fortune, no way out
No solution for breaking out
Is there a point of existing-
If nobody's listening?

We're just sick; we're just tired
So anxious and uninspired
What would we believe in?
There's nobody to lean on

Tell us what's right
We can't find the light

All that we've ever believed is slipping away
I don't think you could give us a valuable reason to stay
There's nothing to do here just give up the faith
One thing's for sure: we're gonna do it in our own way

Dearly beloveds are seeing
Their sons constantly failing
There's so much to deal with
While everything's changing
The memories fading

Misery has painted us disguise
"Happy days" are full of lies
Tell us what's right
We can't find the light

All that we've ever believed is slipping away
I don't think you could give us a valuable reason to stay
There's nothing to do here just give up the faith
One thing's for sure: we're gonna do it in our own way
