when you look at me
what do you see
do you just take a quick glance
and assume everything's fine, i'm alright
nobody sees the pain that's there
the don't care
nobody warned me
i wasn't prepared
for this life He gave me
but nothing can change me
i'm here
i ain't going nowhere
i ain't scared
so beware
sit your a** down and watch me
nothing can stop me
because i'm rising
i'm headed to the top
how surprising
the one who'd never make it, made it
your talk is so outdated
who do you think you're phasing
it ain't me
so turn the lights off
shake that thought off
go to sleep
