God's Away Poem by Mike Tonkin

God's Away

Gods away.
No. sorry
Don't know when he'll be back.
A war.
You've been attacked,
Thats awkward.
Napalm.
People dying.
What about the bomb?
No. Whats the fuss then.
How thoughtless people are
Bothering us with little wars.
Come back in a decade or two.
Urgent you say,
But I've already told you
Gods away..
