God Wins Poem by Katheryn Foley

God Wins

This life so messed, caught up in lust, I thought I became insane.
Feed the devil a piece he will be back for more,
Feed him your mind you'll end up on the floor,
Thoughts of the unknown flooding your mind,

Fed up you fall crying, dying inside a hurricane of feelings erupt in one big bang.
Cut the rope and hang the devil this is not right,
Play the game by someone Else's rules, these dirty deeds the devil put in you are not working.
Pushed down by pain struck down with might, nothings alright.

Hectic ways fill these days, away from the world you don't hear a thing,
Messed up communication mistakes blame the devil for this fate.
Believe in the one with the truth.
The one that will pull you out of this maze,

God will help you he's waiting for you to realize that he's there in your shadow,
With love overwhelming, you break down to choose, and god wins this heart.
Cut and bruised, it has been used, god healed this heart that had been abused,
Now, good as new this heart will go to do wonderful things and experience many a new love.
