Going To Bed With Things To Do Poem by Sandra Osborne

Going To Bed With Things To Do

Rating: 3.6

I’m signing off, I’m going to bed
I’m no longer holding up my head
I wish it wasn’t at all true
I have so many things to do
Like cleaning the kitchen,
Without the bitchen’
Like feeding the dogs
And chopping some logs
Like stopping all of this wearied writing
Like fixing the porch and putting up lighting,
Like vacuuming rugs and starting stew
I really do have things to do
But it’s off to bed and there to lay
Cause I’ve said everything I want to say.

yay, i think I'm officially a fan of these types of poems you've written. Only room for positive criticism and so casual!

hey that never works. You can go to bed but you won't sleep. The boogy man will keep reminding you of what you wanted to do...hehehe gave you 10.. Hugs Jan
