Golden Goddess Poem by Alejandro Torres

Golden Goddess

Red robin heart
Blue fire child
Don’t try to hide
Hope you don’t mind
Refuse to lie to you
You asked me who
It’s only been you
A winter beauty
An autumn baby
My golden Goddess
See your smile
Melt for miles
I’ve left so much
To love you
Smile to the Devil
Love the Angel
With wings of red silk
And eyes of blazing seas
Burn mortal flesh
To tell stories
Of ages past
Diseased memories
Of life
Tainted with pain
A past affecting
Exactly who we become
I am you
You are me
We are one and the same
A golden Goddess
And her Devil
