I may be naive but I don't fully understand

I tried to help you, by taking your hand

You blew me off and turned away

I stood there silent, not knowing what to say

Not knowing how to handle, not knowing how to deal

I wanted to help you but I just stayed still

Calling myself stupid and dumb

Knowing you were lonley and numb

I could only watch as you became a part of my past

The whole ordeal seemed to end so fast

I knew you were gone and weren't coming back

Time to get my life on track
