Gone 2 Poem by David Harris

Gone 2

There stands my glass
now fill it with wine
it will help me forget
all the bad times.
It will erase all the memories
that I want to forget
bring a foggy sunshine
back into my life once more.
The heartache of you going away
and never coming back another day.
The one minute you were there
and the next you were gone.
My life is so empty,
not full anymore
since the Angels took you
from me evermore.

Beautiful but so sad! Life truly does have a sense of emptiness for a while after the death of your loved one. But take heart. The sun will rise shine again!
