Good-Bye To The Old Year Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Good-Bye To The Old Year

Rating: 5.0

G-ood-bye to the old year,
E-arly December twenty-second;
N-ine more nights to go,
E-agerly let the last day end.
L-eave the old year behind,
Y-ou must meet the first dawn;
N-ever turn back the clock, the past is brought to oblivion.

B-id farewell to the old year,
E-ven though it's hard to do;
R-eminisce the precious moments,
S-o your life will never be blue.
A-llow the evening to fade,
B-ecause January first draws near;
E-arnestly say a tearful good-bye to the old year.
