Good Friday and Ashoora

With the long holiday
-everyone celebrates

Not many think or ask
-"What is Good Friday? "

In fact day can be the saddest one
-for all of Christians but is not…
-not for all…
-the lovers of Jesus
-are deeply divided
-some fast, mourn
-others have joy and fun

To me a born Muslim
-in Iran, a Shiite
-it is a reminder
-an exact Ashoora

Here shops, offices
-are closed to respect
-and somehow worldly gain
-is somehow, ignored or sacrificed

Some happy are in heart
-to have done so, for God
-some wish to change the date
-want to earn, gain and save,

I am of neither one
-look and watch with wonder
-amuse me varied thoughts…
