Goodbye Poem by Markus Kwila Kitibo

Goodbye

What we crave for we don't always get; even some demands we may not obtain
I thought I lost you forever, least do I know my thought was spot on
I wouldn't love another that way, surely I should someday
I dreamt of a future that giggles at our imaginations
I wished, you wished… but the package did crashed by point of delivery
Very soon turn out to be too long to hold unto
The pillar couldn't support Hilarious groovy lifestyle that turns gloomy
As the light deemed afar of, a blue pupil should save my essence
If to let go defines my love for you then I do that a hundred times
A weapon that gave Shakespeare game, failed to satisfy my wish
Apparently, that seems you couldn't see beyond my shell
If truly there is love, hate shouldn't suffice for certain sense of denial
My prayer, my wish, my expectation, the very best in life
Every facet of my being reluctantly says ‘Goodbye'
