Goodbye Never Looked So Good Poem by Melanie Weeks

Goodbye Never Looked So Good

Rating: 5.0

Goodbye never looked so good,
Never looked so tempting.
Though I couldn't say it.
I can't let him go and start to hate me.
I don't understand why,
But I love him.

No matter that he has barely any time
To spend with me.
He has to work, you see,
Pay a house note,
To a house he doesn't live in;
To pay for his truck note and gas.
Food for him and his friends.

A little more effort is all I askd him for.
I haven't felt really loved for a ling time.

Pictures of him and another girl on his phone,
My picture and number deleted
By friends of his that hate me.

He says he isn't worried about his friends,
He only worries about me.
I told him I hurt when I see them glaring.

Too busy to see me on a regular,
To busy or tired to call me when I'm awake.
And that 'I don't care adittude' he's got
About alot of things.

Goodbye never looked so good
When my heart is into peices.
But I still can't let him go.....

Sad, strong, slightly desperate feel from the words you've used... a good poem at the same time... A straightforward expression of feelings and that's what makes it a lovable read... Keep writing.
