Grandmother Poem by Melissa Cutler

Grandmother

Your wrinkles so deep,
but your hands so soft, you powder your face
and comb your wiry hair, so old, but so wise
your eyes sunken, but in my eyes
you are beautiful, because you are my grandmother, and
have helped me so much in my life, guiding me along the way
I love you
