In the pleasant afternoon
I was walking through the green grassy field,
It was a wonderful feeling,
I was moving and moving with great ease and rhythm
And smelling the pleasant fragrance of divine nature.
I had already crossed a long way,
How long I could not know,
Suddenly I felt dark evening was approaching fast,
So I had to return, unwillingly though with a heavy heart;
But grass, benign grass, my great companion,
Could not leave me alone,
Even at night it came in my dream with its calm and quiet stature
To soothe and comfort my gloomy heart.
