Gratitude Poem by Gladys Brown Prince

Gratitude

Rating: 5.0

Thanks is a very small word indeed
But carries weight that supercede
The weight that could be bought
Yet never convey the human thoughts
So often felt by thankful hearts

We now take time to recognize
The care you show as we realize
The kindness in your voice we hear
The thoughtfulness when you are here
Words spoken tell us that you care

The acts of kindness you display
Lights up the heart whether night or day
The human touch that means so much
Is rare to find in troubled times
Especially by those with seeking minds

We thank you for the time you take
To show concern and help we make
Decisions to enhance our faith
It may not be that we can to thee
Compensate such thoughtful deeds

Whatever you do know this is true
That our prayers are with you
Since grace can't be merited
Thanks for the work you exhibited
And by grace you will be elevated
