The day is coming
when we will have
nothing to fear,
but nothing to give
in this world of precious depression

Watch.. Watch that man.
On the street
trying to get enough
money to eat
but he can't help the fact
that his life is... Falling apart at the seems

Could you take a step back...
to realize he's just like you and me..
and maybe..
with some compassion
and a friend to talk to,
he would care...
and his life would be worth living..

compassion puts us a whole world apart


so ev'ry line
in his face
is another worry
he had to chase
it was ev'rythin to him
but now it's gone

in a world
