Green Around The Gills Poem by Shaun Cronick

Green Around The Gills

Rating: 5.0

I'm under the weather,
Green around the gills.
I've caught a bug,
And its pains and ills.

A day off work,
The museum can wait.
Till I recover,
Resigned to fate.

I've taken some pills,
To ease my pain.
When they kick in,
I'll be right as rain.

Rain to get soaked in,
That's how it begun.
Feeling the cold,
I'm back to square one.

Thank you for your kind and gracious comment Dia. May you and the loved ones around enjoy a long life filled with virtue. I wish the best this life has to offer. And I thank your good self again. Take care.
