फ़ज़ाए शहर की नब्ज़े खिराम बैठ गयी,
फ़सीले शब पे दीये ले के शाम बैठ गयी ।

वो धूल जिस को हटाया था अपने चेहरे से,
वो आइनों पा पये इन्तेक़ाम बैठ गयी ।

गुज़रने वाला है किया रौशनी का शहजादा,
जो बाल खोल के रस्ते मे शाम बैठ गयी ।

मै किस नशेब मे तेरा लहू तलाश करु,
तमाम दश्त पा ख़ाके खयाम बैठ गयी ।

बहुत तवील सफ़र का था अज़्म ऐ "काज़िम",
हयात चल के मगर चन्द गाम बैठ गयी ।।
