Guiding Light Poem by Varodi Maria

Guiding Light

Rating: 5.0

Oh sweet soul,
Wherever you may go,
I will follow you,
And from darkness I shall escape.

Was I running only to catch you?
On the blooming plateau,
On the jealous mountains,
Or in the far-off sea?

My thoughts lead me to life,
And you lead me to hope
The hope that you…
Ignite within me… with just a single spark.

A spark so tender,
So fragile…
It drives you mad…
Just to catch it.

And no matter how much
Misfortune tries to take shape,
All the more
Good luck shines before you.
