Gypsy

me and colorful scarfs
you and sun generation
we both are the same kind
awake, awake
we match together
this crease skirt
an old woman crease
tie me to the youth dream
again is dream
from design of a carpet
under my feet
this green warp and woof
is sound of my lost generation
again crease
i do not know is
on my face or on a carpet?

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
