(A Pentamerous Haiku) - Poem by Frank James Ryan Jr (FjR)
Below is A Modern-Contemporary Haiku,
written with the employment of Haikus
Traditional syllabic requirement(5-7-5)
The work is also of Contemporary style
by way of its five(5) separate haiku's
that comprise one 15 line composition,
which for better or worse I have myself
dubbed it a ''Pentamerous Haiku'' It is
a Revision/Repost of the original post.
For you young members the theme is the
most popular & arguably the greatest
Rock Band of all time...The Beatles, &
a spin (excuse the vinyl pun) on a few
of their best tunes a la satire...FjR
Was The Walrus Paul?
Or Was The Mystery Tour
Peppered With Magic?
The Walrus They Say
Was A British Sign of Death
Fools on Hills We Were!
Even Scotland Yards
Found Themselves In A Search
For A Dead Beatle.
Then, Lo, and Behold!
Apples across Abbey Lane
McCartney in Front!
But, One Must Concede
These Four Were Rocks Immortals
And, Thus....Let it Be!
