Halves Of The Same Soul (Sonnet #77) Poem by Tina Rizk

Halves Of The Same Soul (Sonnet #77)

Your heart is the only place I call home
It's the safe shelter I seek when in need
My haven where I never feel alone
With love and tenderness my soul you feed

Let's go to a place where we're never found
Just you and I, the trees, the birds, the breeze
Sleepy nights hum waves and nightingales' sounds
The fresh smell of dewed petals mornings breathe

Let's make an endless pact never to part
Let our love be stronger than all tempests
What's the whole universe without your heart!
God has sown love in soulmates' hearts. So blessed!

We're both halves of the same soul you and I
My soul loves and longs for yours. Vibes don't lie!
