Hanging Poem by Arvie Calimlim

Hanging

How long will I wait?
I surely want to know
You’ve always left me hanging
Tempting me to let go

Let me know what’s inside
Let me know if I could
Don’t keep me suspended
Upon a weak piece of wood

I want to know the truth
So I could at least move ahead
I need to know the truth
So I could finally go to bed

Been hoping for you
To finally love me too
Guess it’s hopeless
Guess I’m helpless

Sorry for the trouble
But please end all of this
My sufferings inside
My hope of bliss
