Happiness Poem by Shreej k.c

Happiness

Dragging thousand tufts, determined, I sailed
a ghastly figure, demon or angel appeared
averting the clash, I nearly drowned
a minute late to destiny, I frowned

'Hoisting huge burden, where do you head?
breath some, you look rather dead
Where shall you reach in such haste?
lets rejoice the moment, merrily fest'

Oh! Angelic demon, not to make you foe
I have travelled a distance yet far to go
I forgive you stagnant ignore the time's worth
In search of happiness, I shall move henceforth

Changeless Charisma, lets me off his waves
'I say time is now, its always
With all the vastness of sea, I swear
Its within you else nowhere'

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Sometimes your olden poem reminds you to breathe! It might sound bitter however to some of us who believe thriving for success is craving like gasping for air, who turn hostile to people who we feel are wasting our time and console ourselves saying- 'to be successful, sacrifices have to be made and besides once we become successful, it will lead us to happiness'.We don't realise life and small pleasures slipping from us. As Richard Carlson mentions in one of his books-'Let go of the idea that gentle relaxed people can't be super achievers.'
If you ever feel you are genuinely, seriously very busy, so much so that you have little time to talk to anyone even the people around you, rest assured you just need to learn balance!

I enjoy reading it. I like how it is conversional and the last verse as conclusion. Happiness is inside of you!
