This day, when you were born
Some fifty years ago,
God had pre-destined then,
For you to be my wife!
And so, we tied the knot,
To become one in Christ;
Which stood the test of time,
Despite travail and strife!
Each birthday tells, ‘a year has gone! '
Our marriage bond is strong!
Together we await a morn,
For which our hearts did long.
Today is your birthday;
Let's thank God for this day;
You've been so wonderful,
All through our married life!
