POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
On the farm where I grew up there were 13 cats at one time. My dad would not allow any in the house. Thankfully they were not black. I was lucky enough to get a better occupation.

This haiku should become the definition of Cats - satisfied with life, happily purring. Mr Spock go make a turn round my Meow Meow poem, it's partially about cats :)

I really like having cats around the place. I could pick several up by their tail without getting scratched.

On our farm we also had many cats (I never knew how many) but one of them was indeed very black. More cats stealing milk From a bucket on the lawn Is that a problem?
