O let the red carnations
Remind the global nations
Of a flower growing everywhere –
The doctor, rare and beyond compare.
The doctor helps to heal the wound;
He toils for patients’ duty-bound;
He cares for sick and frees their pain,
And tries his best to be humane.
He is your friend when ailments strike;
He comforts whether you like, dislike;
He gives you life worth living,
Like seat-belts, helmets when driving.
