Happy Heart's Day Stranger! Poem by Ayzhelle Mendoza

Happy Heart's Day Stranger!

True love is hard to find
When love and friendship intertwined
It gets better with time, like an aged wine
It will send shivers down your spine

True love is one of a kind
Don't fear the voices singing a forlorn melodic line
It is never blind for it sees but it doesn't mind
Willing to suffer, often left behind

Valentine's day
Just another petty child's play
Everyone wants to roll in the hay
When did love become so cliche?

Sweets and flower bouquet
These will surely make her day
Showing love in a special way
Never let it go astray

You can treat her to a dinner buffet,
Walk with her around d bay,
Or simply tell her that you'll stay, come what may
Till her hair turns to gray
