Happy New Year my Dear

Happy New Year my dear
Lets have a beer
I still have money left in my brassiere
Happy New Year my dear

I f you have ears
There is nothing to fear
Even if the future is unclear
You shall listen and you will hear
May the year bring you lots of cheers
Love, health, wealth and a dashing career

Happy New Year my dear
Smile to everyone that is near
Ensure your smile is brief and sincere
Happy New Year my dear

poet John Clare

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
