Hard To Love(Who Isn'T There) Poem by Allen Keith Turner

Hard To Love(Who Isn'T There)

Rating: 5.0

It's hard to love someone who isn't there
& you know they don't seem to care.
Never around when needed the most
Never around to try to get close.
Always gone, Not to be found
Could be dead, buried underground.
For all I know your not even alive
Or you've been on a very long drive.
Why do you never show your face
to me here, In this god forsaking place?
I don't know If I can love you again
I just don't know if I can take the pain.
I dought your love, Seen it so few times
You never loved me & I've heard all the lines.
One day you will show up, & I don't know what will be said,
I've learned to live without you, as if you were dead! ! !
