My mother tries and tries,
But she always dies,
Because she doesn't see what is inside,
She's trying to get me to stay away from you,

She wants to hurt you,
But I won't let her through,
Because I love you,
And will protect you,

She's only hurting us both,
Because you are 20,
And I am only 17,
Why must I hide to be everything?

She says she's going to put you in jail,
If you do anything to get inside me,
But when I turn 18 it wont matter at all,
Because you will be there with me through it all,

I tell everything,
That she has done,
All the bruises you see,
Are just painful memories?

I wish she would just let you and I be,
But what are the possibilities,
She just only leaves scratches on me,
And more pain to leave,

My mother is not actually my mother,
She is just a person that pretends to be,
My real mother died and left me,
And she left me with a step mother that only hurts me,
She is my Hateful Mother! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
