Have Seen Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Have Seen

Have seen

Wish could be, all like this
Couple who got married
In the deep, high snow
That surpassed the lamppost
And buried all the roads…

Newfoundland and storm
Have had been exception
For long, and, many years,

The couple dug and walked
Just because of their love…

"I would go even if
Was rainy, kept raining, "
Says bride with smile
And sows the seeds of love
In mine and in your heart.

But sadly…
Yes, sadly…

World is full of Trumps
That bully, shed blood
With greed and the guns
And soldiers as the pawns
And robots with drones…

Those like him never see
The men of Canada
Arrested in China
Thanks to his dirty games.

Such bastards live in the
Building full of mirrors
All around, planted
To show their reflections;
Only them, they, themselves.

What they see of others
Is nothing but dust, dirt.
