Hay Day: -) Poem by Tia Maria

Hay Day: -)

Rating: 5.0

Sail me out into the deep blue sea,
Layed out on a paddleski
A flaming arrow, to my bed of hay
... when I have had my final day!

Is this what they mean by 'going out in a blaze of glory? ' LOL. Like Lorraine I will be there with a fire extinguisher. LOL. This is a very well written piece, and you have said a mouthful in so few words. The image from this that I get is, a person lying on a paddleski as her funeral pyre, and her body being burned as a gift to God. Thank you Tia for sharing this wonderful message, and this rates a solid 10. Love & hugs, Barbara
