He Believes Poem by Daniel Isaac Gordon

He Believes

As I think about my trials in life,
I find it plain to see,
That as much as I believe in God,
God believes in me.

For we are told within the scriptures,
That God will give no man,
Any measure of trial or hardship,
More than he can stand.

That God is ever watchful of us,
Our limits He does know,
And whilst He lets our cup be filled,
It will not overflow.

As I look through all my blessings in life,
I find it plain to see,
That as much faith as I have in Him,
The same He has in me.
