He’ll Be Waiting Poem by David Harris

He’ll Be Waiting

Rating: 4.9

We walk proud with no fear
As thunder roars above our head
There is no doubt in our shadow
That spreads across the ground

We walk with goodness in our heart
We know our limitations
Yet we share ourselves
With everyone we meet

We try to do our best
The only way we know how
Love our family, friends and neighbours
And all those who would do us harm

We are but children
In the great scheme of things
And when our lives are finished
We hope, he’ll be waiting for us there

And if we love our neighbor, and try to live by the Golden Rule, then I think we have nothing to fear when this life is over. You get back what you give to others, so make sure it's always something good! Love is the answer. Linda :) xx

A wonderful write David, I too believe that if we do the best we can, show love from the heart. Be kind to strangers, family and friends, offer a helping hand whenever we can. Care about ones feelings and try never to put anyone down. If we walk in the light of God, and fear him not for he will always protect us. Learn to forgive and love even those who would do us harm, then for sure David, He will be waiting for us there. Praise his precious name and the name of his son Jesus. Thankyou, God Bless you and keep you David in the palm of his hand. Melvina
