Heart Place Poem by Brad Adams

Heart Place

You have a familiar spirit to my own. I am so excited for your future, wherever it may take you. What you see over the horizons you gaze upon, you drive toward has always fascinated and thrilled me and I have wished I could go with you to see what you will see. What will you see through the windshield, what's behind you in the mirrors, and who, if anyone, is in the seat next to you? Will I ever ride with you a ways again? It doesn't matter to me where I go, what I see, or what I do, as long as it is with you, I have arrived. My journey is to a heart place. My mileposts are your smiles, my horizons are your dreams, and my destination is your happiness.
