Heart Warmed Poem by Midifo Yearns

My heart is strangely warmed
and deep within my soul is formed
a new mysterious direction
for I am seized by great affection

Where to, I wonder, yet I know
that life itself the path will show
and though the track is often hidden
its then that I feel strangely bidden
to come aside and there abide
in happiness that’s more than bliss.

Uncertain lies the path that sureness
brings, yet in confusion my heart sings.
Tho’ words fail at times, I don’t know
what to say, as paths change hands in
shadows I somehow know the way.

For deep within, I’m sure, there is
a guiding hand that points me to the
markers that stand there in the sand,
and footprints come and fade away
but on we go through night through day
and tho’ the journey passes through
thickets and through thorn but always when
I’m fading, new life and hope are born.
