Heartache Poem by sally ann jackson

I tried so very hard last night to close my eyes & sleep,
but your still there I saw your face, that only makes me weep.
How long I ask are you with me, consume my every thoughts,
I hurt these months, these weeks, these days & every hours onslaught.
With hunger in my heart for you because it's broke in two,
please come too me & show me how, a life I could pursue.
This hurts my head, my heart, my soul, as sadness takes its toll,
your here for me I know you are, help me gain back control.
The day will come as sun shines through my face wont fake this smile,
& patiently wait with myself, But make each day worthwhile.
