Heartbroken Poem by Jean Dament

Heartbroken

Rating: 5.0

When my heart broke my whole world stood still;
And I took my cross up to a lonely hill,
Left my open wounds there to fully bleed,
With all that unbearable hurt & need,
Thought that love would never again return;
As I had felt a total searing burn,
In time though my broken heart healed,
But there's a little part yet locked inside & sealed.
