Heartbroken (A Valentine For You) Poem by Haley Smith

I've had my heart broken too many times to count.
By you, by others
But it was all about the same thing.
Only one little thing.
Love.
And on today of all days was the worst of all.
Now here's my little poem I wrote just for you:


Violets are red,
Roses are blue.
You've messed up my heart
And ripped it in two.
I'm done with your lies and I'm done with your love.
Now get out of my life and get out of the way.
This girl's going to get her life together.
I always do.
