Did you ever stop and wonder why,
or do you even care,

Some people live just to get high,
their pain they will not bare?

And with all the beauty
and all that God did give,

Do some neglect their duty
and die before they live?

The pain of those they leave behind
and all that was not said,

Weighs heavy on their loved one's mind,
because they are now dead.

So if you're sad and lonely
and think that you should use,

STOP and know it's only
a very poor excuse.
