Heat Poem by Larisa Marie Davis

Heat

Rating: 2.8

Heat
of two bodies
pressing to make one
hearts
pounding in and out
of sync
soft
touches, caresses
kisses.
feeling everything
needing more
of you and me
together.
wanting fireworks.
sweating, panting
from your fingertips
gently sliding over
my damp stomach
leaning over
whispering...
you cause
heat.

Well, Larisa, I know where Deptford NJ is, as I live not all that far way on the edge of Salem & Gloucester counties and go to the mall there often, as well as pass through Glassboro frequently as well. More importantly, I know a well written poem when I see one, and your poem is certainly that and very expressive as well. I will read more of your promising poems soon, and it's always nice to see a New Jersey poet on poem hunter, especially one from the best part of Jersey-right around here! Carl.
