Following the light and starry host
After each plant and tree
For Father Son and Holy Ghost
Adam was made to be

Though not for trouble not for strife
Not sickness death or pain
But fellowship and endless life
Content this world to reign

Furnished was food water and air
The sun and moon above
Abundance flourished everywhere
Through true undying love

With joy with peace delights galore
The world at his command
Nothing fell short from Adam’s store
As was and always planned

And so it still remains today
Where every need is met
Yet many go the devil’s way
Ignorant of regret

Darkness will make us deaf and blind
Selfishness lead off course
Yet love will raise dead souls to find
Life’s one eternal Source

Life’s Vine, Life’s Root, Life’s Corner Stone
True Hope in faith to trust
In Jesus Christ God’s Son alone
Whilst all else turns to dust

Climbing beyond the highest hill
Conquering self within
Seeking to do Salvation’s will
Our neighbour’s soul to win
