Heavy Handed Justice Cuts Cruel Poem by Terence George Craddock

Heavy Handed Justice Cuts Cruel

Rating: 5.0

I have seen men with two good hands
two good hands under Sharia Law
who did not deserve their own hands;
if they judgement applied law moral terms
of sentence harsh Sharia Law to themselves
but lawbreaker rich men paid blood money;
a small pittance in princely wealth excess
to cover their guilt pardoned excessive sins
paid to bleeding weeping victim poor families:

I have seen the unlucky man caught
stealing a fruit who paid severed price
under Sharia Law lost forever a hand;
I have seen scared unlucky man caught
foul hooked trapped in starving poverty rags
dared steal to feed starving dying family;
for it is centuries old crime written 'Theft
is (cruel pitiless ruthless harsh) punishable
by (brutal) amputation of the right hand';

what if thief crime caught stealing twice?
death for what use is a man with no hands
yet the man who steals a truck load of fruit;
steals a company steals businesses a country
inflicts poverty suffering upon citizens his
powerless people no charge for he plea makes;
slippery justice interpretations of Sharia Laws
safe sits above time trap manipulated centuries
death sentence dusty code applied merciless laws;

show me a man one man just
one who in veiled hidden secrets
his entire life from childhood;
never stole a candy; a cake a slice
of bread from his mother's childhood table
never stole an idea a thought or praise;
belonging to another never stole
happiness smile from a wife a child
a stranger show me faultless man;

who claims never stole and I will
stare into the counterfeit face of a liar
angelic let the man woman or child;
who never stole cast the first stone
I have seen a man without a right hand
an unlucky man but I have also seen;
many wielding the knife giving orders
taking hand of another Murderers who deserved
to lose not a hand but their devil lives;

for they stole freedom from lips
of persecuted poor helpless innocent
condemned not just in injustice;
but with sly smiles made evil profit
judgements lash harsh told vile oath lies
torture dripped from stained fingers;
stole Allah given mercy compassion rights
coveted all eyed afflicted victims possessions
stole birthright means of making a livelihood;

ruled with brand iron rods no mercy
not honouring humane highest greatest law
exalted let he who is without sin cast;
mercy forbidden first stone
behold no death sentence stones
would be savage hit thrown;
in compassion no cruel hate judgements cast
by blind radical Islamic State speaking peoples
fear when Sharia Law is decreed legislation;

Allah the merciful wrote beneficent legislations
love justice peace conscience into noble hearts
manifest qualities greed wealth rarely possesses;
Allah loves praiseworthy pure noble mercy qualities
Sharia Law was supposed to flawless peace represent
honour moral code source of goodness Allah's religious;
laws signalling an utterly just pardoning prophetic religion
Allah the great forgiver watches iron profit task masters
who stole Allah patient blessed words love mercy peace;

dust time flash forward past is still sword wielded
observe thief hand a piece of meat upon crime block
observe cruel cut bones visible in wrist severed hand;
injustice not justice blood shed screams up to heaven
interpretations imposing Sharia Law now are different
sentences vary between differing rival Islamic sects;
observe immutable respective schools of jurisprudence
in merciless strictest historically coherent definition
Sharia is tradition considered an infallible Law of Allah;

cruel mullah lost meaning of blessed words mercy peace:

disobeying Allah the Compassionate, Allah the Merciful;

a few thoughts defining justice
justice for born rich justice mercy
for born poor under Sharia Law
a few seconds considering the meaning
of Allah the Compassionate
Allah the Merciful
should have produced
a sentence of mercy kindness;
realizing the real inhumane crime is

letting the poor starve to death
by not feeding with compassion the poor
Sharia is considered an infallible Law of Allah
but hand mind of evil men corrupt uncorruptible
laws; to harvest ill gotten gains injustice; reaped

disobeying Allah the Compassionate, Allah the Merciful;

Allah the Compassionate Allah the Merciful loves mercy peace
