Heavy Snow Poem by Jay Reynolds

Heavy Snow

weary by this Autumn's
wet heavy snow.
pine trees bent over
like old men.
daylight refuses to show her
sun.

must I rise out of bed?
the cold must hate me.
that darned cat doesn't care!
all he does is squall,
next to the front door.
