Hell Poem by Dharma Gill

Hell

Rating: 4.5

What is life?
when you don't have one
not allowed existence.
My future vision
is blinded by my own inhibitions.
The inner image
beating itself into lamentations.
The dark horse captured shadow-less
not forgiven and unforgotten.
Downtrodden
between my historical past
and the present
that haunts me like a legendary myth.

My restless soul
sentenced to life imprisonment
within a cursed body
of Para-normality -
no life after death.
But my mind believes in reincarnation,
and its tales of the unexpected.

My thoughts are handcuffed
by orthodox opinions.
Brainwashed without realization.
My heart is yearning
a desire to be free
from all these false made doctrines.
I saw my escape route
and I took my leave
making my getaway
to a kingdom called freedom.
