Hell In A Handbag Poem by David Harris

Hell In A Handbag

You have everything planned
and you are all set to go,
then something unexpected happens
and everything you planned
goes to hell in a handbag.

You can guarantee
that all best laid plans
will hit a snag somewhere
and when it does, everything
goes to hell in a handbag.

Planning in the outdoors,
you have to rely on the weather.
A sunny day is preferred,
but just let the rain set in
and it all goes to hell in a handbag.
