Her Name Poem by Airda Jones

Her Name

A piece of me is breaking
Just hearing her name
And seeing your face
I know I'll never be the same

Because you promised
And still you went
Even worse is that
You don't even feel regret

That time you were there
I was at home
You found your companionship
While you left me alone

And it doesn't matter
'Cause I have forgiven you
It's the part where you mentioned
That you weren't entirely through

So I'm trapped in this
Nightmare that reoccurs
And all it takes is
Hearing that name of hers.

I like this poem. Simple and informative. Wonderful! I believe if you can forgive then the nightmare won't come and the wound will disappear. Keep writing! Could you read my poems too? Thank you very much.
