Her, Season 4 Episode 2 Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Her, Season 4 Episode 2

I thought I saw the truth in her
I backed away in self assurance
Wondering if what I felt;
What I saw was indeed real
This infectious need
Having her near
What was this withdrawal
This constant need to forgive her each and every time she disappears then reappears
Preceeding to wrap her in thought
Carrying her everywhere I went
The sights seen from the reflection of her
Telling myself; never again
Only to wind up
Chasing an unsure future
Pieces of lent dropping to the ground
Before that night
I never seen the clouds so close
The fault between time management, never having enough time.
Time now older
Mumbling reason for emotional impact
The remedy of a clear sky
Resonating how things use to be
This underated urge
Random confessions,
Were we truly that bias
Arousing a single smile
Beneath the plight of nothing to do
Nowhere to go
Another night spent channel flipping
Feeling some type of way
Wasting time with you
Infinity
