Her Thoughts Ever Stray Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Her Thoughts Ever Stray

Her imaginary groom lives in country afar
His face ~ she has never yet seen.
But at early dawn every day of the year
She becomes a poor lovelorn queen.

Not once, has she told him she cares
For voices aren't heard, so to speak!
But when daytime gives way to night-time
She dreams of a waltz, cheek to cheek.

Then, close to the keyboard she swoons
Words of love signed on each page.
It's a love bug, a virus meant for the vulnerable
A Love Fantasy of the Technological age.
